1.8" & 4.3" Readable TFT LCD Modules

Newhaven Display 1.8" and 4.3" Sunlight Readable Thin-Film-Transistor (TFT) Liquid Crystal Display Modules are offered in standard display, resistive, and projected capacitive touch for design flexibility. These high brightness TFTs have a typical brightness of 780cd/m2. With a wide 70° viewing angle, the Sunlight Readable Modules are easy to read in outside conditions with a bright sun.

TFT Displays

Newhaven Display TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) Displays are active-matrix LCD modules with full RGB color screens. These Newhaven Display screens exhibit bright, vivid colors and can show fast animations, complex graphics, and crisp custom fonts, with the option for resistive or capacitive touchscreens.

4.3” IPS TFT Displays

Newhaven Display 4.3” IPS TFT Displays are based on In-Plane Switching (IPS) Technology. With IPS technology, electrodes are arranged with the liquid crystals inside the display rotated in parallel with the screen, rather than twisting and standing upright like with Twisted Nematic (TN) technology. IPS Displays offer truer color reproduction, excellent viewing angles, and better contrast.
