MCxxXS Power Drivers

NXP Semiconductors MCxxXS Power Drivers are intelligent high-side switches for industrial and automotive applications. The MCxxXS Power Driver series includes single, dual, and quad output high-side switches. Control, device configuration, and diagnostics are performed through a 16-bit serial peripheral interface (SPI), allowing easy integration into existing applications. The output with selectable slew-rate improves electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) behavior. Additionally, each output has its own parallel input or SPI control for pulse-width modulation (PWM) control if desired.

Battery Management Systems (BMS)

NXP Semiconductors Battery Management Systems (BMS) enhance the performance and ensure the safety of a battery pack composed of multiple cells. Functional safety is critical as lithium-ion batteries pose a significant safety hazard when operating outside a safe area. These devices offer high measurement accuracy after soldering and aging, with ISO 26262 support and ASIL D functional safety capability.
