Snubberless Triac Drivers

onsemi / Fairchild Snubberless Triac Drivers are designed with infrared emitting diode coupled to a hybrid triac that is capable of driving discrete triacs. These drivers feature zero-voltage crossing, high blocking voltage, 300mA on-state current, and high trigger sensitivity. The ON Semiconductor Snubberless Triac drivers use a high-efficiency infrared emitting diode for improved trigger sensitivity and are housed in a standard 6-pin dual-in-line (DIP) package. Typical applications include solid-state relays, industrial controls, lighting controls, and AC motor starters.
