onsemi ESD/EMI/TVS Protection Devices are designed to prevent or mitigate damaging transient surges, overcurrent, and overvoltage within a variety of industrial and consumer applications. These devices offer an extensive range that meets every design need.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Devices

onsemi Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) devices are used to protect circuits from electrical overstress. This electrostatic stress can be caused by either Electro-Static Discharge (ESD), inductive load switching, or lighting. These TVS devices feature fast response time, low clamping voltage, low capacitance, and low leakage current that are ideal for transient surge suppression.

ESDx/SZESD9x/UESDx Transient Voltage Suppressors

onsemi ESDx/SZESD9x/UESDx Transient Voltage Suppressors are designed to protect voltage sensitive components from ESD. Excellent clamping capability, low leakage, and fast response time provide excellent protection on designs that are exposed to ESD. The ESDx/SZESD9x/UESDx suppressors are constructed by a thermosetting plastic and feature body height of maximum 0.43mm. These suppressors are flammability rating UL94V-0 and RoHS compliant, PPAP capable, and feature moisture sensitivity level-1 standard. Other features include less than 1ns typical response time and 3.3V to 12V of stand-off voltage. The SZ prefix is used for automotive and other applications requiring unique site and control change requirements. Applications include cellular phones, MP3 players, digital camera, and portable applications.
