AS5116 AEC-Q100 On-Axis Magnetic Position Sensors

ams OSRAM AS5116 AEC-Q100 On-Axis Magnetic Position Sensors are contactless sensors for accurate angular measurement over a full mechanical turn of 360°. These sensors feature a robust architecture based on Hall sensor technology that measures the orthogonal component of the flux density (Bz) over a full-turn rotation. The AS5116 magnetic position sensors use a simple two-pole magnet rotating over the center of the package to measure the angle. These magnets can be placed above or below the device and the absolute angle measurement provides an instant indication of the magnet's angular position. The angle information is provided by means of buffered differential sine and cosine voltages. These sensors offer high reliability, durability, low output noise, and high precision analog output.
