Zilog/IXYS ZMotion Passive-Infrared (PIR) Sensors are balanced differential sensors that come in TO-5 nickel-plated metal cans. These sensors in combination with a selection of lenses are optimized for their intended applications by configuration settings loaded into the ZMOTION® MCUs. The PIR Motion Detection Technology provides a dramatic improvement in both sensitivity and stability over traditional designs. Also, this technology is scalable to many market segments including lighting control, HVAC, access control, vending, display, proximity, power management, and occupancy sensing.
