This inverse footprint enables increased thermal contact and substantially higher current ratings within the same footprint, without the need for excessive PCB copper heatsink areas. Welwyn / TT Electronics WHPC Thick Film High Power Chip Resistors feature packages ranging from 1206 to 1225 and resistance values from 1Ω to 10MΩ.
