Film Capacitors

Vishay Film Capacitors are high-performance capacitors that use a thin plastic film as the dielectric material, offering exceptional stability, low loss, and reliability in various electronic applications. These capacitors are widely used in consumer and industrial electronics due to excellent electrical characteristics, such as low equivalent series resistance (ESR), high insulation resistance, and high dielectric strength. Vishay offers a wide range of film capacitors, including polyester, polypropylene, and polycarbonate types, each suited for specific applications. The capacitors are commonly found in power electronics, filtering, decoupling, audio systems, and motor control circuits, where stable performance and longevity are critical. Known for high capacitance tolerance and temperature stability, Vishay Film Capacitors are ideal for applications requiring precision and long-term reliability, making them essential components in modern electronic designs. The Vishay film capacitor facilities are approved by ISO TS 16949, and most of the film and RFI capacitors are approved to CECC specifications.

MKP385e-THB AC & Pulse Metallized Film Capacitors

Vishay / BC Components MKP385e-THB AC and Pulse Metallized Polypropylene Film Capacitors are designed for automotive applications where pulse, high frequency, and high AC current capabilities are required. These high-temperature, high-humidity capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified and can be used in onboard and inductive charging systems, battery management systems (BMS), high pulse and high-frequency currents, and snubber, resonant converters. The series offers a capacitance range of 0.001μF to 15μF and a rated voltage of 400VDC to 2500VDC. Vishay / BCC MKP385e-THB capacitors are ideal for electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid EVs (PHEVs), and peripheries applications.

Classics Capacitors
