PWA 500mW Thin Film Power Resistors

Vishay PWA 500mW Thin Film Power Resistors offer a 500mW power rating in a small 0.762mm x 1.143mm (0.030" x 0.045") chip size. They provide a resistance range of 0.3Ω to 1MΩ in a 0503 case size. These wire-bondable resistor chips utilize an oxidized silicon substrate for good power dissipation as well as a tantalum nitride, self-passivating resistor material. The devices are manufactured using Vishay Electro-Films (EFI) thin film equipment and manufacturing technology. Vishay PWA 500mW Thin Film Power Resistors are electrically tested and visually inspected to MIL-STD-883, method 2032, class H or class K. The resistors are RoHS-compliant and lead-free. Vishay PWA resistors are used mainly in higher power circuits of amplifiers where increased power loads require a more specialized resistor.
