on all Molded Network Resistors.  This includes all
custom parts (dash numbers).

This change allows for a second source and updates to a
newer, more available, compound that provides the latest
technology in molding material.

The material change will include a color change from gold
to black.

SOMC Dual-In-Line Thick Film Resistor Networks

Vishay / Dale SOMC Dual-In-Line Thick Film Resistor Networks feature a medium body with molded case construction and a small outline. These surface-mount resistor networks are offered in a 14-, 16-, or 20-terminal package with thick film resistive elements. Isolated, bused, and dual terminator schematics are available. Vishay / Dale SOMC Dual-In-Line Thick Film Resistor Networks are reflow solderable and compatible with automatic surface-mounting equipment. The SOMC series is designed to help reduce total assembly costs.
