The Cat 5e cables provide a 1Gbps max data transfer speed at 100MHz and up to 328 feet. The Cat 6 cables offer a 10Gbps max data transfer speed at 250MHz, while the Cat 6a cables offer a 10Gbps max data transfer speed at 500MHz.
