Jacinto 7 Processors

Texas Instruments Jacinto 7 Processors include specialized on-chip accelerators to segment and expedite data-intensive tasks like computer vision and deep learning. TDA4VM processors for ADAS and the DRA829V processors for gateway systems incorporate a functional safety microcontroller, making it possible for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers to support both ASIL-D safety-critical tasks and convenience features with one chip. The Texas Instruments Jacinto 7 Processors execute ADAS operations using 5W to 20W of power, eliminating the need for active cooling. Both devices share a single software platform, alleviating system complexity and cost by allowing the reuse of software investments across multiple vehicle domains.

TDA4VM/TFA4VM-Q1 Jacinto™ Arm® Based Processors

Texas Instruments TDA4VM/TFA4VM-Q1 Jacinto™ Arm® Based Processors are based on the evolutionary Jacinto 7 architecture, targeted at ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) applications. These processors are built on extensive market knowledge accumulated over a decade of TI’s leadership in the ADAS processor market. The unique combination of high-performance compute, deep-learning engine, dedicated accelerators for signal and image processing in a functional safety-compliant targeted architecture make the TDA4VM devices an excellent fit for several industrial applications. These applications include robotics, machine vision, radar, and more.
