SN74ACT245/SN74ACT245-Q1 Octal Bus Transceivers

Texas Instruments SN74ACT245/SN74ACT245-Q1 Octal Bus Transceivers are for asynchronous two-way communication between data buses. The control-function implementation minimizes the external timing requirements. When the output-enable (OE) is low, the device passes non-inverted data from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus. This feature depends upon the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input. A high-on device is needed so that the buses are effectively isolated. The Texas Instruments SN74ACT245-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
