Texas Instruments TPS659038-Q1/TPS659039-Q1 Power Management Unit (PMU) for Processors are integrated circuits designed for automotive applications. The device provides a general-purpose (GP) sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with three external input channels. The device also allows one of the converters to be combined with another 3A regulator to permit up to 9A output current by offering seven configurable step-down converters with up to 6A output current for memory. Each step-down converter can synchronize to an external clock source between 1.7MHz and 2.7MHz, or an internal fallback clock at 2.2MHz.
