LPV521 Single Nanopower Operational Amplifiers

Texas Instruments LPV521 Single Nanopower Operational Amplifiers are designed for battery applications that require ultra-long life. A typical supply current of 351nA and an operating voltage range of 1.6V to 5.5V make this device an excellent choice for remote-sensor nanopower and RFID reader applications. The device has voltage-swing-to-the-rail output performance and an input common-mode voltage of 0.1V over the rails, specified TCVOS. The input stage of the LPV521 is carefully designed with a CMOS input stage that outperforms competitors with typically 40fA IBIAS currents. This low input current significantly reduces IOS and IBIAS errors introduced in megohm resistance, high-impedance photodiode, and charge sense applications.
