DRV5011 3.8mT 5.5V Hall Effect Latches

Texas Instruments DRV5011 3.8mT 5.5V Hall Effect Latch has an efficient low-voltage architecture and is designed for motors and other rotary systems. More compact systems are enabled by the output being a push-pull driver that requires no pull-up resistor. The device drives a low voltage when a south magnetic pole is near the top of the package, and the BOP threshold is exceeded. The output stays low until a north pole is applied and the BRP threshold is crossed. This causes the output to drive a high voltage. The DRV5011 provides robust switching with the integrated Hysteresis separating BOP and BRP. Then alternating north and south poles are required to toggle the output. The device operates consistently across a wide ambient temperature range of –40°C to +135°C.
