Texas Instruments 16-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter: DAC8580

Introduced by Mouser in 2006, the Texas Instruments DAC8580 16-bit, high-speed digital-to-analog converter (DAC) is designed for waveform generation applications. The TI DAC8580 DAC operates from dual ±5V power supplies and requires only a single external reference. The TI DAC8580 DAC can generate output signal frequencies up to 1 MHz and significantly reduces the need for external de-glitchers, analog filters, and high-swing output buffers.
