Clock Buffer: CDCLVP1216 / CDCLVP2108

The Texas Instruments CDCLVP1216 and CDCLVP2108 are high-performance clock buffers specifically designed for driving 50Ω transmission lines in demanding applications. These TI clock buffers can generate 16 copies of LVPECL clock outputs from one of two selectable LVPECL, LVDS, or LVCMOS inputs for a variety of communication applications. The CDCLVP1216 and CDCLVP2108 have a maximum clock frequency of up to 2 GHz and an on-chip multiplexer (MUX) for selecting one of two inputs that can be easily configured solely through a control pin. Each TI clock buffer features overall additive jitter performance of less than 0.1 ps, RMS from 10 kHz to 20 MHz, and overall output skew as low as 25 ps in the CDCLVP2108 and as low as 30 ps in the CDCLVP1216.
