BQ24210 / BQ24650 Solar Charger Evaluation Modules

Texas Instruments BQ24210EVM-678 and BQ24650EVM-639 are evaluation modules for battery chargers for solar power. The TI BQ24650EVM-639 evaluation module lets users demonstrate the BQ24650 synchronous switch-mode battery charge controller for solar power. The BQ24650 provides input voltage regulation that reduces the charge current when the input voltage falls below a programmed level. When the input is powered by a solar panel, the input regulation loop maintains the panel at maximum power output. The TI BQ24210EVM-678 evaluation module assists users in evaluating the BQ2410 solar charger. The BQ24210 features an input voltage regulation loop with a programmable input voltage regulation threshold, making it suitable for charging from alternate power sources, such as solar panels or inductive charging pads.
