ADS794x SAR Analog to Digital Converters

The Texas Instruments ADS7947 / ADS7948 / ADS7949 are 12-bit, 10-bit, and 8-bit 2MSPS analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). ADS794x ADCs operate at 2MSPS sample rate with a standard 16 clock data frame. You can operate the TI ADS7947 (12-bit) at 2.1MSPS, the ADS7948 (10-bit) at 2.57MSPS, and the ADS7949 (8-bit) at 3MSPS with a short data frame optimized for the number of clocks sufficient for conversion with no drop in performance. These TI ADCs feature outstanding dc precision and excellent dynamic performance. The TI ADS794x family supports a wide analog supply range that allows the full-scale input range to extend to 5V. These TI ADCs are ideal for a variety of applications, including communication systems, optical networking, medical instrumentation, battery powered equipment, and data acquisition systems.
