TPS54620 Synchronous Step Down Switcher

Texas Instruments TPS54620 Synchronous Step Down Switcher is optimized for small designs through high efficiency and integrated high-side and low-side MOSFETs. The TI TPS54620 achieves further space savings through current mode control, which reduces component count, and a high switching frequency. The TPS54620 synchronous step-down converter includes an SS/TR pin that controls the output voltage startup ramp and allows operation as either a stand-alone power supply or in tracking situations. The TI TPS54620 includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting on the high-side FET that protects the device in overload situations and is enhanced by a low-side sourcing current limit that prevents current runaway.
