TE Connectivity developed the CHAMP Series Ribbon Cable Connectors to meet the requirements of high density, wave-solderable applications in miniaturized designs. The compact surface mounting area in CHAMP Series Ribbon Cable Connectors from TE Connectivity enable designer engineers to maximize PC board space without compromising interconnection capability. The CHAMP Series Ribbon Cable Connectors are fully intermateable with similar existing connectors and can accommodate designs with single- or double-sided printed circuit boards with printed circuit board thicknesses of .062mm, .093mm or .125mm. Ideally suited for medical equipment, data control systems, telephone interconnect systems, and electronic instrumentation.
