TE Connectivity's VITA 87 High-Density Circular MT Connectors enable the high speed and bandwidth needed in a smaller space for next-generation ruggedized systems. These Mil Circular 38999 fiber-optic interconnects provide significantly higher density options compared to traditional Mil Circular fiber optics, aligning more closely with industry architecture requirements. The VITA 87 connectors can accommodate most next-generation high-density ports and mating card slots with the availability of 12- and 24-fiber options. These connectors will also conform to global VITA and SOSA standards, guaranteeing availability and empowering users to confidently integrate these products into their next-generation systems. Typical applications in aerospace and avionics systems include high-density circular military fiber optics cable assemblies, optical add-on/options cards, and ruggedized MIL-Std 38999 systems.
