GRACE INERTIA Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) GRACE INERTIA Connectors feature an inertia locking mechanism to simultaneously complete the circuit and "lock" the connector. This connector system provides an ideal solution for eliminating human error during assembly. The GRACE INERTIA series provides ideal mating reliability, prevents mismatching, and eliminates the need for complicated inspection processes. The carefully engineered design assures proper insertion, which prevents header pin deformation. The ergonomic design allows for easy assembly, while the compact pitch reduces overall connector size. TE GRACE INERTIA Connectors utilize lanceless contacts to prevent snagging or entanglement while the dual-beam contact design offers good contact and durability.

2.5mm Centerline GRACE INERTIA Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) 2.5mm Centerline GRACE INERTIA Connectors utilize advanced design concepts to facilitate a more stable, reliable, and durable connection. The series features an inertia locking mechanism to prevent defective products caused by half-mating. The mechanism also helps to prevent connectors from being disconnected during movement or transportation. Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) helps ensure the contacts are properly seated in the housing while offering extra protection against contact back-out. The design structure also reduces contact insertion force by as much as 59% during assembly. TE 2.5mm Centerline GRACE INERTIA Connectors offer 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 positions, 50VAC/DC voltage rating, and 3A max. current rating. Ideal applications include air conditioning, refrigerators, cooking, microwave ovens, dishwashers, and industrial controls.
