MICRODOT Press-Fit Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) MICRODOT Press-Fit Connectors are through-hole connectors that boost cost-effectiveness and save time by eliminating soldering and solder-inspection processes. TE's MICRODOT Connectors feature compliant pin cuts through a conformal coating on the PCB, a minimum PCB thickness of 1.40mm (.055"), and aspect ratio requirements for PTH in backplane PCBs. The components utilize the same footprint as the solder tail design (per MIL-DTL-83513) with a different diameter hole allowing for the re-use of the PCB trace layout.
