Automotive EMI Suppression

TDK offers several series of AEC-Q200-compliant chip beads for Automotive EMI Suppression in both signal and power line applications. The lineup of MMZ and MPZ series chip beads includes miniaturized products measuring just 0.4mm x 0.2mm, Gigaspira-structured products that provide high impedance at GHz bands, products that are compatible with high currents in power lines, and beads with a terminal electrode design that improves the bonding strength with solder and supports +150°C environments. KMZ and KPZ series soft termination chip beads are also available, offering effective protection against board flexure and solder cracks, even under harsh conditions and high operating temperatures of up to +150°C.

Chip Beads

TDK Chip Beads offer a noise reduction solution for a wide variety of applications. These chip beads include the MMZ-H, MPZ0402, HFxxACB / HFACC, MMZ, MPZ, MPZ-E Ferrite, MMZ-HE, and MMZ-E chip bead series. TDK Chip Beads are ideal for smartphones, tablets, portable game machines, industrial equipment, and car multimedia, depending on the model.

PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications & Solutions

TDK PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications and Solutions feature TDK's expanded line of ALT series SMD pulse transformers to be used in combination with ACM and MCZ series common-mode filters. These are used in various PoE applications that are compatible with 1G/2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T, 10/100/1000BASE-T, and PoE+ (600mA) standards. PoE is a technology that allows electrical power and data transmission to be carried simultaneously through a single cable versus through a separate power cord and network cable. PoE reduces the number of cables and wires necessary for installation and allows for design flexibility, as device placement no longer relies on the availability of an electrical outlet. PoE is capable of supporting higher transmission speeds while still providing outstanding reliability and meeting compact design targets. TDK PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications and Solutions allow for greater scalability as the number of connected devices and LAN interfaces on each device continues to grow and more electronic components are used in servers and routers, as well as in other network and communication devices. 

MPZ Automotive Chip Beads

TDK MPZ Automotive Chip Beads are AEC-Q200 compliant and designed for use as noise reduction solutions in automotive power line applications. Compared to the MMZ series of signal line chip beads, the MPZ components offer low direct current resistance for compatibility with large currents and are optimal for lower power consumption. The MPZ series is available in a variety of case sizes and materials, with dimensions ranging from 1mm x 0.5mm to 2.5mm x 2mm (L x W). Other options include up to 5 materials with different frequency characteristics for countermeasures against everything from general to high-speed signals.
