EPCOS / TDK Input EMI & Safety Standard Approved Capacitors are available in Metallized Film and Ceramic and are used mainly in industrial, consumer and lighting applications such as for RFI suppression and ESD prevention. The special features of these UL and ENEC certified components are self-extinction and overvoltage security, which is ensured by a special resin filling as well as an "open circuit" failure mode to avoid dangerous shorts. The available categories are X and Y and their subclasses.

High Voltage Safety Disc Capacitors

TDK High Voltage Safety Disc Capacitors include a variety of capacitors. These components offer low dissipation at high frequency and an operating temperature range up to +125°C. They provide a long lifespan and can withstand at least 1000 cycles. TDK High Voltage Safety Disc Capacitors meet AEC-Q200 requirements as well as comply with the safety standards of various countries.

CS Series Safety Standard Approved Capacitors

TDK CS Series Safety Standard Approved Disc Capacitors are ideal for AC line-to-line and line-to-ground filtering and meets the safety standards of 11 different countries. The capacitors are ceramic disc capacitors with high dielectric strength and have a withstand voltage of 2600VAC. TDK CS Series Safety Standard Approved Disc Capacitors are AEC-Q200 compliant.
