High-Temp +150°C, Compact MCOIL™ Power Inductors

TAIYO YUDEN High-Temperature +150°C, Compact MCOIL™ Power Inductors are small, multilayer metal power inductors designed for automotive applications, meeting high heat resistance and reliability requirements. These inductors operate in a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and have undergone evaluation tests compliant with AEC-Q200 standards. In addition to the compact size, this series features high thermal conductivity and low magnetic flux leakage. These characteristics contribute to heat management and noise reduction for semiconductors that act as heat and noise sources. The series aids in the miniaturization and performance enhancement of electronic control units (ECUs) for applications such as advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) LiDAR and radar, in-vehicle cameras, and meter clusters.  

MCOIL™ LSDN Wire-wound Metal Power Inductors

TAIYO YUDEN MCOIL™ LSDN Wire-wound Metal Power Inductors are designed for general electronic equipment featuring 0.3μH to 33μH nominal inductance range with ±20% inductance tolerance. These inductors appear in maximum thicknesses ranging from 0.95mm to 2mm and offer 0.013Ω to 1.8Ω maximum DC resistance range. The LSDN inductors feature a 460mA to 16,000mA maximum rated saturation current value (Idc1) range and 400mA to 7800mA maximum rated temperature rise current value (Idc2) range. These inductors operate within the -40°C  to 125°C  temperature range (including self-generated heat) and are RoHS compliant. Typical applications include AV equipment, OA equipment, home electric appliances, office equipment, mobile phones and PCs.

MCOIL™ General-Purpose Metal Power Inductors

TAIYO YUDEN MCOIL™ General-Purpose Metal Power Inductors utilize metallic magnetic materials optimized for choke coils in electronic device power supply circuits. MCOIL general-purpose inductors feature two flagship models: the LSCN series, a multilayer inductor featuring an ultra-compact 1005 size, and the LSEU series, a wire-wound inductor that reduces core loss by approximately 30%. These inductors offer high current capacity, low resistance, and low core loss in a compact size. TAIYO YUDEN MCOIL General-Purpose Inductors are designed for smartphones and tablet PCs.
