Spectra Symbol ThinPot Linear Position Sensor is half the width of the SoftPot and is composed of a polyester substrate and 3M pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). The ThinPot is IP64 dust- and splash-proof and the life cycle exceeds 1 million actuations. Actuation of the potentiometer is from the outside of the element by pressing down a non-conductive wiper to produce the desired electrical output. The Spectra Symbol ThinPot Linear Position Sensor is designed to adapt to any application because most materials can serve as the wiper - plastics, metals, sliders, rollers, wheels, or the human hand.
