Same Sky USB Type-C® Receptacle and Plug Connectors comply with various USB standards, including 2.0, 3.2 Gen 1, 3.2 Gen 2x2, and USB 4. These connectors support data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps and power delivery of up to 240W. Same Sky USB Type-C Receptacle and Plug Connectors offer a reversible connector interface for simple and reliable mating. These design and performance features produce a compact solution for various I/O applications in consumer and portable electronic devices. The receptacles include models that remove the data transfer pins for power-only applications, providing a cost-effective solution for designs dedicated solely to charging or power.

UJC Power-Only USB Type-C™ Receptacles

Same Sky UJC Power-Only USB Type-C™ Receptacles are designed especially for power-only applications. These USB Type-C receptacles feature 6-pin construction and are housed in a horizontal or vertical mid-mount, or surface-mount package with a 3A current rating and 20VDC or 30VAC voltage rating. By removing the data transfer pins, the UJC receptacles are a more cost-effective solution for designs where charging or power is the lone function. These devices mate with any standard USB Type-C plug, taking the accessibility and simplified design integration of the universal Type-C connection and employing it in power-only applications. Same Sky UJC Power-Only USB Type-C Receptacles offer up to 10,000 mating cycles. The series has a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating and is RoHS compliant.

USB Connectors

Same Sky USB Connectors conform to a wide range of USB standards, including 2.0, 3.2 Gen 1 (previously USB 3.1 Gen 1), 3.2 Gen 2 (previously USB 3.1 Gen 2), 3.2 Gen 2x2 (previously USB 3.2), and USB 4 20Gbps or 40Gbps. These connectors are available in a variety of types, orientations, mounting styles, and current ratings to provide design flexibility and versatility. Additional features include current ratings up to 5A, data transfer speeds up to 40Gbps, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. Same Sky USB Connectors are ideal for I/O consumer and portable electronics applications, including digital audio devices, mobile computing equipment, and high-volume storage products. Power-only USB Type-C® receptacles are also available. The receptacles do not have data transfer pins, offering a cost-effective solution for designs where charging or power is the lone function.
