STT Automotive Ultrafast Rectifiers

STMicroelectronics STT Automotive Ultrafast Rectifiers implement ST's new 200V planar technology. They are suited for switching mode base drives and transistor circuits. The STT Series are also intended for use as freewheeling diodes in power supplies and other power switching applications in automotive functions.

Ultrafast Rectifiers

STMicroelectronics ultrafast diodes are available from from 200V to 1200V with various V_F/t_RR trade-offs to achieve the best performance for any application. In PFC and solar inverters, STMicroelectronics now offers the BC²™ solution in addition to Tandem and Turbo2 devices. BC² guarantees the same efficiency as SiC diodes in a conventional PFC, for a much cheaper application cost. All STMicroelectronics ultrafast rectifiers are rated up to 175°C operating junction temperature, as a result of reduced leakage currents.
