ACS108-8TN AC Switch

STMicroelectronics ACS108-8TN AC Switch is an overvoltage-protected switch built with A.S.D.® technology. ACS108-8TN is a high-performance switch that controls a load of up to 0.8A. This switch includes overvoltage crowbar structure to absorb the inductive turn-off energy and a gate level shifter to separate the digital controller from the main switch. The ACS108-8TN overvoltage protected AC switch is triggered by a negative gate current, flowing out of the gate pin. This ACS108-8TN switch features high noise immunity against static dV/dt and IEC 61000-4-4 burst, needs no external protection snubber or varistor, and interfaces directly with MCU ECOPACKR2. The ACS108-8TN AC switch operates from -40°C to +125°C temperature range and supports -40°C to +150°C storage temperature. Typical applications include industrial control systems, relays, solenoids, dispensers, fans, door locks, and lamps.

Standard Products

STMicroelectronics Standard Products are a broad range of industry-standard and drop-in replacements for the most popular general-purpose analog ICs, discretes, and serial EEPROMs. The Standard Products are manufactured to the highest quality standards with many AECQ-qualified for automotive applications. A comprehensive set of STMicroelectronics design aids, including SPICE, IBIS models, and simulation tools, is available to make adding to a design-in easy.
