Renesas Electronics 9SQ440 CK440Q PCIe Gen5 Server Clock Generator is an Intel® CK440 main clock synthesizer for Intel cloud and HPC platforms as well as newer Intel-based server platforms. The 9SQ440 series is single-chip, PCIe Gen5 compliant and provides a complete clock solution or works in combination with DB2000Q-compliant clock buffers to offer point-to-point clocks to multiple receiving agents. The 9SQ440 module serves as a centralized clock generator for server CPU and PCIe clocks. It has a total of 20 differential outputs and jitter performance of <40fs RMS of PCIe Gen5 common clock phase jitter to meet the timing requirements for topologies that range from simple, single-board two-socket to complex, modular multi-socket systems.
