Power Integrations’ TOPSwitch®-HX device cost-effectively incorporates a 700V power MOSFET, high voltage switched current source, PWM control, oscillator, thermal shutdown circuit, fault protection, and other control circuitry onto a monolithic device. The integrated off-line switcher features Power Integrations’ EcoSmart® technology that enables power consumption of less than 200mW at no load and maintains constant efficiency over the full line and load range. The TOPSwitch-HX family meets efficiency requirements for the new energy-efficient standards and enables the design of compact and cost-effective switching power supplies.
