Phoenix Contact E-Mobility Solutions offer a complete range of charging connectors - Type 1, Type 2, and GB/T standard - from a single source. These combined charging systems (CCS) are standard-compliant charging systems for electric vehicles that support both conventional AC charging and fast DC charging. Both vehicle connectors fit into the CCS vehicle inlet. Combined charging systems deliver an intelligent charging process that is safe and fast charging.

Type 2 - Conventional AC Charging for Europe

Type 2 - Conventional AC Charging Products for Europe carry out single- or three-phase AC charging in charging modes 2 and 3. As part of the safety concept, both PP and CP signal contacts assume control functions. These detect whether the vehicle connector is correctly inserted in the inlet and which level of power may be used for charging. Type 2 - Conventional AC Charging Products for Europe comply with IEC 62196.
