M8 & M12 Foil + Drain Cables

Phoenix Contact M8 and M12 Foil + Drain Cables are foil + drain cordsets that use aluminum shield to provide full coverage under the cable jacket. These cables come in two styles with either a drain connected to pin or with a drain not connected to the pin. The drain-to-pin connected style indicates drain wire loaded to a contact and is specified by FDP at the end of the product descriptions. These drain-to-pin cables allow noise to be carried through the connector via one of the contacts. The drain not connected style indicates drain wire does not connect to a contact or coupling nut and is exposed on the open end of the cordset. These Phoenix Contact cables allow easy termination of a drain at the open end of the cable and are specified by FDN at the end of the product description. These foil + drain cables are ideally used in RFI protection.
