POE240/576 Multi-Gig PoE Midspan Power Injectors

Phihong POE240 240W and POE576 576W Multi-Gig Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Midspan Power Injectors are IEEE802.3bt compliant and compliant with Phihong proprietary 12.5K detection. The POE240 4-Port and POE576 8-Port Power Injectors feature shielded DC jacks, diagnostic LEDs, and over-current, over-voltage, and short-circuit protections. These Phihong devices are 2.5G-compatible and include a one-year warranty.

Power-over-Ethernet (PoE)

Phihong Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Solutions integrate power and data over an Ethernet cable, supplying power to network devices. This integration, combined with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), allows businesses to be fully optimized for continuous operation, virtually eliminating power interruptions and business downtime. Networks that support new and emerging Ethernet devices with varying power requirements must provide compatibility, expandability, and flexibility. The power-on-demand midspan technology is an effective and practical solution to these challenges. These PoE midspans deliver power to VoIP phones, wireless LAN access points, remote IP security cameras, access control devices, RFID readers, and motion detectors. Single-port extenders are available, extending power and data up to 200m from a network switch.
