SP-Cap Polymer Aluminum Capacitors

Panasonic SP-Cap Polymer Organic Aluminum Capacitors are surface-mount aluminum electrolytic capacitors that use a conductive polymer as the electrolyte in layered aluminum construction. The SP-Cap product line consists of multiple series' that offer capacitance ranges of up to 560µF, voltage range from 2VDC to 35VDC, and the lowest ESR/impedance in the industry, achieving very good noise suppression and transient response. Unlike MLCCs, SP-Caps are free from temperature drift and DC/AC bias characteristics. In addition, voltage deration is not needed in SP-Caps, as in tantalum capacitors, due to its safety features. Panasonic SP-Caps are the perfect solution for input and output capacitors for various DC/DC converters.

Polymer Capacitors

Panasonic Capacitors offer a wide range of technologies that can be used in the most demanding applications. OS-CON™ parts are characterized by a long life span and minimal changes in ESR throughout the entire rated temperature range. POSCAP (tantalum polymer) parts offer high reliability and high heat resistance, making them the ideal Chip Capacitor for digital, high-frequency devices, and more. The SP-Cap (aluminum polymer SMD) line from Panasonic is composed of multiple series that offer extremely low ESR, a capacitance range up to 560µF, and a voltage range from 2V to 16V, achieving good noise suppression and transient response. Unlike MLCCs, SP-Caps are not susceptible to temperature drift and DC/AC bias characteristics. The EEH-ZA/ZC/ZK series utilizes the benefits of both electrolytic and aluminum polymer capacitor technologies, creating a capacitor with low ESR, low leakage current, high ripple current, and smaller case sizes.

EEF-TX Aluminum Organic Polymer Capacitors

Panasonic  EEF-TX Aluminum Organic Polymer Capacitors are surface-mount capacitors that offer low ESR of 3MΩ to 15mΩ and an endurance of 5,500 hours at +135°C. These capacitors feature a rated voltage range of 2V to 6.3V, a rated capacitance range of 120µF to 470µF, and a -55°C to +135°C temperature range. EEF-TX capacitors have a dissipation factor of ≤2 times the initial limit and a DC leakage current of ≤3 times the initial limit, making them an ideal choice for high-temperature and long-life applications. Panasonic  EEF-TX Aluminum Organic Polymer Capacitors are suitable for 5G base stations, industrial equipment, servers, and network equipment.
