Grid-EYE® Infrared Array Sensors

Panasonic Grid-EYE® Infrared Array Sensors are surface mountable and feature 64 thermopile elements in an 8x8 grid format that detects absolute temperatures by infrared radiation. Grid-EYE can provide thermal images by measuring actual temperature and temperature gradients. Panasonic Grid-EYE enables the detection of multiple persons and the identification of positions and directions of movement, almost independent of ambient light conditions, without disturbing privacy as with conventional cameras. The built-in silicone lens provides a viewing angle of 60°. Measurement values are viewable through an I²C interface in 1 or 10 frames per second. The interrupt signal output quickly responds to time-critical events for a high degree of flexibility.

Infrared Array Sensors Grid-EYE® Narrow Angle

Panasonic Grid-EYE® Narrow Angle Infrared Array Sensors are high-precision infrared array sensors offering temperature detection of a two-dimensional area of 64 pixels: 8 x 8 (64 pixels). The narrow-angle Grid-EYE sensors offer a digital output and either PCB mounting with a connector or a compact SMD package that is adaptive to reflow mounting. Panasonic Grid-EYE Sensors are suitable for home appliances, home automation, factory automation, and building automation.
