SO-RT™ Free Running Locking Standoffs

PEM SO-RT™ Free-Running Locking Standoffs feature a self-clinching design, ideal for applications requiring mounting panels or components. When pressed into round holes, these fasteners permanently mount into metal sheets as thin as .025"/0.63mm. Self-clinching standoffs are available with PEM RT free-running locking threads that generate friction proportional to the clamp load induced by tightening the bolted joint. These standoffs improve load distribution across all threads, resist vibrational loosening, and feature locking that remains consistent regardless of on/off cycles.

Datacom/Telecom (SSR)

PEM Datacom/Telecom (SSR) provides innovative solutions to fit today's demanding communication/transmission needs. PEM fastening products have a smaller footprint than traditional fasteners, making them ideally suited for smaller applications, and fewer components mean less scrap waste as well as faster installation. These fasteners are manufactured in PEM's Clean Lab, which uses sophisticated cleaning and testing processes to meet ISO 16232 and VDA 19 standards. PEM Datacom/Telecom (SSR) features a range of fasteners, including self-clinching nuts, self-clinching standoffs/spacers, and cable-mounting accessories. SO/SOS Through-Hole Self-Clinching Standoffs

PEM SO/SOS Through-Hole Self-Clinching Standoffs utilize a proven self-clinching design, providing an ideal solution for applications where the mounting and spacing of boards or panels are required. Pressed into round holes, these fasteners from PEM mount permanently into sheets as thin as 0.63mm. SO standoffs are for use in steel or aluminum sheets of HRB 80/HB 150 or less, while the SOS standoffs are recommended for steel or aluminum sheets HRB 70/HB 120 or less. PEM SO/SOS Through-Hole Self-Clinching Standoffs feature hardened stainless steel construction.
