Barracuda™ Isolated DC-DC Converter

OmniOn Power™ Barracuda™ Series DC-DC Converters are designed for applications where available system voltage is between 36V to 75V and where an isolated conversion stage to a regulated 12V output is required. The 12V output can be used to power fans, hard-drives, and downstream point-of-load converters. These bus converters are available in standards-based sixteenth-brick, eighth-brick, and quarter-brick DOSA footprints. OmniOn Power Embedded Power Barracuda™ Series incorporates digital control, synchronous rectification technology, and innovative packaging techniques to achieve efficiency reaching 96% peak at 12VDC, eliminating the need for heat sinks in many applications.
