Ohmite HS Aluminum Housed Power Resistors are designed for direct heat sink mounting with a thermal compound to achieve maximum performance. A special encapsulation material and process allow for high insulation levels with minimal thermal resistance at the element. Ohmite HS Aluminum Housed Power Resistors have resistance values of R005 to 100KΩ, power ratings up to 600W, tolerance from 1% to 10%, and a high power-to-volume ratio.
