Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs)

NXP Semiconductors Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) optimize power efficiency and simplify supply sequencing for application processors across diverse applications. These NXP Semiconductors PMICs offer a comprehensive system solution by integrating switching/linear regulators and optional battery management features like a battery charger, coin cell charger, and power path selection. Configurable via OTP, our PMICs can be tailored to meet specific needs, supporting ASIL B/D functional safety requirements for enhanced reliability in safety-critical systems.

FS26 Safety System Basis Chips

NXP Semiconductors FS26 Safety System Basis Chips support entry and mid-range safety microcontrollers; these include the S32K3 series. The FS26 SBCs provide multiple power supplies and the flexibility to work with other microcontrollers targeting automotive electrification. Other applications for the FS26 consist of a power train, chassis, safety, and low-end gateway technology. The FS26 devices consist of several versions that are pin-to-pin and software compatible. These versions support many applications with Automotive Safety Integrity Levels (ASIL) B or D, presenting options in several output rails, voltage settings, operating frequencies, power-up sequencing, and integrated system-level features.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Traction Inverters

NXP Semiconductors Electric Vehicle (EV) Traction Inverters are critical devices in electric vehicles that convert DC power from the battery to AC power to drive the traction motor. The inverters provide high power levels from 80kW to over 200kW to withstand high temperatures while being lightweight.
