NB680/1 Synchronous Buck Converters

Monolithic Power Systems NB680/1 Synchronous Buck Converters are designed as fully integrated, high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode converters. Available in a QFN 2mm x 3mm package, NB680/1 converters offer a very compact solution to achieve an 6/6.5/8A continuous output current and a 7.5/10A peak output current over a wide input supply range of 4.5V to 26V with excellent load and line regulation. Based on MPS proprietary switching loss reduction technology and internal low RON power MOSFETs, the NB680/1 converters operate at high efficiency over a wide output current load range. Adaptive constant-on-time (COT) control mode provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The DC auto-tune loop offers good load and line regulation. Full protection features include overcurrent limit, overvoltage, undervoltage, and thermal shutdown.
