MP5490 Fully Integrated Power Management Solution

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP5490 Fully Integrated Power Management Solution is well-suited for the transmitter optical subassembly (TOSA) of optical modules. The MP5490 integrates four high-accuracy current sources (IDx) for distributed feedback (DFB) laser diodes (LDs) and four negative voltage biases for an electro-absorption modulated laser (EML) bias. The MP5490 also provides 4-channel EML current measurements and monitoring photodetector (MPD) current measurements to simplify the design.
