MMCX Power-over-Coax (PoC) Solution

Molex MMCX Power-over-Coax (PoC) Solution is designed to ensure reliable RF connections and uninterrupted power delivery in dynamic environments, such as automotive, industrial, and aerospace applications. The cable assemblies also offer seamless upgrades with IEC 61169-52 backward compatibility, and they do not require PCB receptacle changes (connector or PCB footprint). These PoC solution features a patent-pending mating technique to provide secure and stable connections that maintain electrical ground continuity, making these products ideal for space-constrained locations. The full-locking mating mechanism is engineered to fix a known weakness in traditional MMCX plug connectors, which can cause signal interruptions and intermittent power levels. The MMCX PoC solution is compact and 30% smaller than traditional MMC connectors. Applications include electronic devices, GPS antennas, sensors, and agricultural machinery.
