Molex High-Speed FAKRA-Mini (HFM) Interconnect System provides a compact, high-performance solution tailored for the demands of modern vehicle architectures, enabling next-generation capabilities for automotive design engineers. These HFM connectors are smaller than standard FAKRA connectors and handle higher speeds, delivering data rates of up to 28Gbps at frequencies up to 20GHz. The compact, lightweight form factor is optimized for space efficiency and rugged reliability, featuring 80% space savings over traditional FAKRA connectors. The series also offers an integrated secondary lock (ISL) and an optional connector position assurance (CPA) for enhanced connection reliability. The sealed variants provide durability in harsh conditions by protecting against fluid and water ingress. Applications for the Molex HFM interconnect system include autonomous driving systems, internet connections, infotainment systems, 5G, BLUETOOTH®, and Wi-Fi®.
