MCP3421 Battery Fuel Gauge Demo Board

Microchip Technology MCP3421 Battery Fuel Gauge Demo Board (MCP3421DM-BFG) shows users how to measure the battery voltage and discharging current using the MCP3421 Delta-Sigma (ΔΣ) Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). The MCU algorithm calculates the amount of battery fuel used. The MCP3421 Demo Board measures the voltage and current coming out from the battery in the discharge mode, and the voltage and current coming into the battery in the charging mode. It calculates the total fuel used and also remaining fuels. The measurement takes place approximately every one second and updates the measurement data and calculated results on the included 2x16 LCD Display.
