EMI Absorbers

Laird EMI Absorbers performance materials come in two types: magnetic and foam. Laird Magnetic EMI Absorbers are thin (0.1 to 3mm) polymeric materials filled with magnetic particles that have high permeability and high permittivity, that are both very effective in eliminating high-frequency EMI. Laird Foam EMI absorbers are based upon open-celled foam impregnated with a carbon coating, which makes the resultant product lossy at microwave frequencies, acting as a free space resistor to incoming electromagnetic energy. These foam products range from 3.2mm to 6.4mm.
