HMSR-SMS Current Sensor Demonstration Boards

LEM HMSR-SMS Current Sensor Demonstration Boards provide a practical and efficient platform for evaluating the performance of LEM’s HMSR-SMS Integrated Current Sensors (ICS) in real-world applications. These demo boards eliminate the need for custom PCB design or complex tools, offering a standardized form factor and consistent thermal performance across all demo boards. This uniformity allows for straightforward comparison between different sensor models and packages under similar conditions. The boards feature two primary cable connection options: a standard hole for quick setup using fork terminals, or the REDCUBE terminal for optimal reliability, minimal resistance, and superior thermal performance. For secondary connections, the use of a Molex 901471108 female connector (or equivalent) is recommended. To minimize signal disturbance, probes or coaxial/twisted cables should be connected directly to the output connector. It’s important to ensure the output is connected to a high-impedance input, as a 50Ω load can overload the sensor and degrade its performance.
